    Dear Parents/Guardians,

PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCE is this Friday!  If you are a new parent to IMS you need a little background on how we have Parent Teacher Conferences here.  Our conferences are Student-Led.  That means your child will lead you in the conference with at least one of the teachers from their team.  They will show you some of their work, discuss grades and how they can do better or what they plan to focus on.  Over the last several years, we have implemented this model for conferences, and we think it is an excellent way to keep the students involved in their learning and communicating with parents.  However, if you need to meet with a specific teacher, we can also do that.  Our teachers are always available for parent meetings.  Just call the school, and we will set it up.

We are asking that all of our parents make a special effort to attend our 8th annual Student-Led Parent teacher conference scheduled for September 21st beginning at 11AM and ending at 6PM.  You should receive information very soon about scheduling a time to meet.

Remember our PAC Membership drive is still going on.  Each class that reaches $400 WORTH OF MEMBERSHIP FEES GETS A PIZZA PARTY!

We would like to send out a special congratulations to our IMS Cross Country team for winning their third Patriot Classic last week!  You guys are unstoppable on our home turf!
