People with COVID-19 have had a wide range of symptoms reported - ranging from mild symptoms to severe illness. Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. People with these symptoms may have COVID-19:
- Fever or chills
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Muscle or body aches
- Sore throat
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting
Each teacher in each classroom will go over the symptom sheet. Students with one or more symptom will have temperature checked. If temperature is 100.4 or above, student will be escorted to the nurse's office. The nurse will decide next steps.
Every morning during announcements, the symptom check will be delivered aloud.
