Offenses are simply bad choices that are made in the school environment. Consequences come from making bad choices. What are some examples of offenses? Below you will find a list of common offenses that have resulted in students being placed in Intervention.
What is an Offense?
Talking back/arguing with a teacher
Not doing your work
Not following directions
Talking in hallway
Making disruptive noises
Shaking or saying "No" to teacher
Playing around instead of working
Talking out of turn
Disrupting others during work time
Slamming doors, papers, books
Playing in restroom
"Fits" - screaming, kicking, rolling around on floor
Throwing chairs, furniture, etc.
