    Good afternoon IMS Parents/Guardians!

    -Week 10.

Can you believe in two more school weeks, we will be finished with two six-weeks grading periods?  Football season is almost over, and very soon basketball will begin.  It's unbelievable how fast our days are going by.

-Next week is our Fall Break.  I know some students, teachers, and a few principals that are ready to catch their breath and get caught up.

-Ms. Melody Cain has begun collecting pictures for our Nov. 11th Veteran’s Day Program.  If you have a family member, or you have served in any of the Armed Forces, we would be honored for you to attend our program and submit a picture for our slideshow.  Pictures should be emailed to

    - Our yearly PAC Membership Drive has begun!  Please consider joining the committee by paying a few dollars.  Each team that reaches $500 will get a fun reward.  If you want to know more, contact our Parent Organization Committee or look at their Facebook site.

-Our common assessments are going very well this week.  The students are working hard and demonstrating what they have learned so far this year and last school year.  The data collected during these assessments will be very useful as we get ready for the 3rd six weeks.

-Next week during Fall Break, we will play our first football Playoff game this season.  We will be playing the Three Oaks Choctaws @ 6:30 on Tuesday evening at Barton Field.

     - 8th Grade Parents, please remember to send in the permission form for your child to go on the University visit scheduled for after Fall Break.

Make it a great day, and remember Bulldog Pride is Community Wide!
