My name is
Allyson Palmer and I teach 2nd grade at Rhea Elementary. This is my fifth year teaching at Rhea and I
absolutely love it!
We have lots
of exciting events and activities coming up so please read my newsletter on a regular
basis. Let me know if you have any
questions!
About me:
I grew up in
western Kentucky, in a small town called Nebo.
I graduated from Madisonville North Hopkins High School in 2003. I then attended Lipscomb
University in Nashville, TN, where I received my Bachelor of Science
degree in Elementary Education; I graduated from Lipscomb in May of 2007.
I earned my
Masters in Education Administration from Murray State University in December of
2010.
I am married
to Bob Palmer, who is the youth minister at Sulphur
Well Church of Christ. We both love
spending time with kids!
Bob and I
just had our first son earlier this year!
Elijah James was born on May 6, 2011.
In our
free-time we like to play outside, work in the garden, go for walks with our
two dogs – Juneau and Jellybean, watch TV, read, and go to sporting events –
any kind; we both love sports. Our
favorite teams are the Kentucky Wildcats and St. Louis Cardinals!
