Dear String Students & Parents:
Welcome back to String class! We have many exciting events planned for this year.
Please read the information below carefully. Attached there are several forms I need you to return as soon as possible.

♬ Parents should contact the chosen rental company and make arrangements to have
the instrument delivered as soon as possible.
If you rent through Symphony Supply – please contact Mrs. Patti Story at 800-952-1977.
Amro Music in Memphis is another option. Contact Reese King @ 901-323-8888.
♬ Since some of you (many of you!) may have grown over the summer, Mrs. Norris has
measured your child so that you may order the correct size instrument. See the infor-
mation below and relay this size to the chosen rental company.
♬ Parents – once the chosen rental company has been contacted, please complete the
form below and return to school with your student as soon as possible.

O Violin players need:
1. Violin in case – including: bow, rosin, 4 fine tuners already on instrument
2. Method Book – may be purchased to keep or use a school book (Essential Elements
2000 for Strings Book 1 for violin – includes a CD for the first ˝ of the book
3. Shoulder rest – Resonans or foam type
4. Folding music stand
5. Pencil
6. Small, soft cloth for cleaning
O Viola players need:
