Daily Reading Homework- Jan.23-27

Dear Parents, at this stage in kindergarten children should be reading every night. If I send home the original book, it must be returned the next day so can go home with another child. If I send home a copy of a book, please sign and return the next day. As your child progresses in reading please work on expression and fluency.

Monday- Child reads book or paper booklet to you. Record on book log and return book to school. Book: Home Sweet Home- Underline word “what” in the book.

Tuesday-Child reads new book or paper booklet to you. Record on book log and return book to school.

Wednesday- Child re-reads paper copy of Tuesday’s book and underlines popcorn words. Record book on book log.

Thursday- Child re-reads paper copy of book and complete book report. (book report attached) Record book on book log.

Friday: Read book of your choice. Record book on book log.
