· Please read with your child every night and talk about what they have read.

· Spelling: Sort 25 words beginning with consonant k or blend qu, tw, wh, followed by a short vowel and consonant

• Learn to recognize numbers on a ten-frame, noting the relationship of those numbers to 5 and 10.

• Practice addition facts with sums to 12 using flashcards

Please be sure to notify me before 1:45 if you need to change transportation for your child. Also include the date, address, and a phone number where I can reach you if there are any questions about the change. The best way to inform me of changes is for you to write the change in your child’s Planner. I check these every morning.

If your child is having problems tying shoelaces, please practice at home.

Please discuss the papers that you find in the front pocket of your child’s Planner with your child and they can remain at home. Papers in the back pocket should be completed and returned to school.
