Behavior Plan
I have a
stoplight in my class that I use for behavior management. Each child has a car with his or her name on
it. Each child’s car begins on green
every morning. A child will get at least
two warnings when a class rule is broken then their car will be moved to yellow
and a yellow smile will be marked in their planner for that day. If a child continues to break a class rule
their car will be moved to red and a red smile will be marked in their planner
for that day. If your child receives a
yellow or red smile, I will write an explanation in the planner explaining why
they received a yellow or red smile.
Children who receive all green smiles at the end of the week will
receive a special reward for excellent behavior.
Scale for
Six Weeks Conduct grades:
-3 smiles =A
-6 smiles =B
-9 smiles =C
-12 smiles =D
-13 smiles =F
*Please brag on
your child for all green smiles. Having
all green smiles is SUPER!
Thanks!
