PTO MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of PTO for the 2010-2011 school year is to assist teachers as they encourage our children to take care of their minds, their bodies, and the earth around them.

This will be worked out in the following ways:

· We will help teachers maintain a passion for teaching by assisting them with administrative tasks and extracurricular activities and encouraging and recognizing them for their hard work.

· We will set healthy examples in the way we live, providing healthy snacks and opportunities for physical activity, thus creating a culture of wellness in the Rhea community.

· We will reduce the amount of paper that we use as an organization and promote recycling among the Rhea community.
