PTO MEMBERSHIP DRIVE BLASTS OFF!

Welcome back Rhea Rockets! It is time once again for our annual P.T.O. Membership Drive. The drive began on registration day and ends on September 30, 2010. P.T.O. Membership is available to anyone; parents, teachers, grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc. The cost of a P.T.O. Membership is $2.00 per member or you may make a donation.

The money raised in the membership drive goes toward P.T.O. sponsored events throughout the school year. During the 2010- 2011 school year, the P.T.O. was able to purchase a book for every student given during the end of year Reading Celebration, support a class field trip, and buy new playground equipment. The funds raised by the P.T.O. events go back into the school for the children to enjoy.

Memberships are totaled for each class.  At the end of the membership drive, the top three classes in each grade will enjoy a frozen yogurt party!  

There will be a membership table set up at Parent Orientation on Thursday, August 11 at 6:00 p.m. Feel free to turn in your membership that night or send it with your child before September 30. Please remember when sending money with your child to write P.T.O. Membership, Child’s Name, Child’s Teacher, and the amount that you are giving on your envelope.
