Mr. Owens has been reading a chapter a day to all Rhea School Students from the book How to Eat Fried Worms. On our Reading Celebration Day, he read the last chapter.

And then ATE FRIED WORMS!!!

Oh YES HE DID!

Dr. Jason Harper served as our chef for the morning.

Yummy!

Mr. Owens finished the last chapter and then. . .

Dr. Harper fried the worms!

Mr. Owens made sure each child got a good look to see that they were REAL WORMS!

Dr. Harper served them in a nice bowl with a pinch of rosemary.

The children began chanting “EAT THE WORMS, EAT THE WORMS!”

Dr. Harper tried some of his creation.

Mr. Springer got in on the action!

Mr. Chris Hudgins slurped the worm in like spaghetti!

Mrs. Suzannah Murphey didn’t enjoy her worm very much.
