Dana Corporation's Plumley Division
The Plumley Division and Hose and Tubing Products Division of Dana Corporation are leading manufacturers of sealing products, cam cover modules, air ducts/modules, and single or multi-layer rubber or plastic hoses for engine manufacturers worldwide. Major customers include Ford, General Motors, DaimlerChrysler, Toyota, Nissan, and International.
Rhea Elementary School is proud to be partnered with Dana! The employees at the Paris plant are very supportive of our students and staff. They provide a monthly awards program to recognize the good work habits of students who excel in various areas of the school curriculum. Our students love the PC Pup! He makes an appearance each month at the awards program.
In addition to the awards programs, Dana gives each student and staff member a birthday present and they also provide food for the faculty on special occasions such as the beginning of the school year and on teacher appreciation week.
They provide volunteers who come and tutor students and/or read to classes. And they have a fun contest at Christmas where our students create a cover for a Christmas card. Then the PC Pup comes and rewards the grade level winners with a personal visit. The overall winner gets his or her picture on the front of the official Dana-Plumley Christmas card!
