Discipline Plan

The children will be expected to follow rules, directions and make good choices within the realm of their age appropriate abilities. A child may be removed from the group for a short period of time and will return when he/she is ready to try again.

Each child will be given a Car on our “Stop Light.” At the beginning of everyday each child will begin on green. If at any point throughout the day your child receives a warning, he/she will be asked to move their car to yellow. Yellow means we had a “fender bender”. If the behavior does not improve, they will then move to red.

I will color the smile in your child’s planner each day. Green smiles mean great day. Yellow means we had a fender bender. Red smile means your child chose to not make good choices that day and he/she ended the day on Red. I will always provide you with a brief explanation as to what the behavior was.
