A.  On your desktop you will find a link for BrainPOP.  Follow this link and search the word constitution.   Watch the BrainPop titled “U.S. Constitution”.  Then answer the questions below:

1.  Who are the founding fathers?

2.  What are 3 of the 7 principles on which the constitution is based?

3.  What are the 3 branches of the government?

4.  What was the first job George Washington took?

5.  Write 2 details about the attack on December 1776.

6.  What did George Washington do after the war?

C.  Then follow this link http://www.brainpop.com/socialstudies/usgovernmentandlaw/presidentialelection/quiz/When you have arrived, you should see a link titled “graded quiz”.  Take the quiz and write your score beside number 7.  Be honest it’s not the score that matters, it is what you have learned:)

D.  Follow this link http://www.constitutioncenter.org/timeline/html/index.htm and then answer the questions below:

8.  What year(s) did we adopt the constitution?  Follow the link for the year(s) and answer the next question.

9.  How many delegates were called to the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia in 1787.

10.   Follow the link for 1850-1865 entry on the timeline.  How many people, according to this website, died for liberty and equal rights?
