Paris Elementary School
Mission Statement & Beliefs

PES Staff Believes:
We believe student learning needs should be the primary focus of all decisions impacting the work of the school.
We believe every student is an individual who can learn regardless of his/her racial, social, or financial status.
We believe learning requires personal responsibility while developing problem solving, critical thinking and communication skills in a positive and safe school environment.
We believe that the methods, materials, and programs, should be adjusted to meet the rapid changes in our society, economy, and technology.
We believe high expectations and a flexible variety of opportunities should enable the student to become a well-rounded person of character academically, physically, socially, and artistically.
We believe cooperation among all stakeholders is essential to the success of the school as well as the community.
We believe there is a strong correlation between attendance and achievement.
We believe students can achieve academic success and become lifelong learners through standards and data driven instruction.
