Dear IMS Parent/Guardian,

We had a great beginning to our testing week!  I know that some students and teachers tend to be a little anxious over testing, but I am sure both teachers and students are ready.  Thank you parents for being supportive of your child and for letting us have your student in this school! 

Here are a few announcements and thoughts:

·         Remember, TCAP scores will count on final grades this year.  The state of Tennessee did pass a law last year requiring that all districts count state assessment scores in student’s final grade.  The PSSD School Board determined that the TCAP score will count 15% (out of a possible 25%) of student’s final grade.  This law will be observed here at IMS. 

·         TCAP testing will be Monday-Thursday.  We will be testing from 8:00 until around 11:00 each day.  You child’s attendance is very important to us and to your child’s final grade.  Your support in this effort is very important.

·         Year Book Sales Continue!!!! $25.00 each!  There are only a few left!!!
